Dentures with staples are very comfortable, do not move and will be more easily accepted by patients. Its stability is given by the staples that are cemented onto the remaining teeth or tooth roots.

It can be removed for cleaning, the rest of the time it will remain fixed on the staples and the prosthetic field. These prostheses can also be made on dental implants if there are no natural tooth roots.

Compared to the advantages of stapled dentures, the disadvantages are negligible. Some staple denture wearers may experience periodic irritation or inflammation of the teeth, embarrassment or pain, or temporary maladjustment. Retainers will over time eliminate these inconveniences.
